• Why is Tipping Such a Big Deal?

  • Do you tip every time you have a service performed? Yes, no, only sometimes?

Well here’s the deal. ANY  time you pay for a service (and even sometimes when you haven't paid for a service) a tip is expected. We as Massage Therapists rely on tips to help us pay bills, buy groceries, and afford to do our job. It’s for this reason that Inner Harmony Healing started enforcing a minimum automatic gratuity policy to ensure that clients are informed gratuities are expected, and to provide them with informed consent that we charge clients who leave without tipping.

Inner Harmony Healing as a company does not directly benefit from this policy, as we make no money on gratuities. This policy is in place to protect our therapists' best interests. Their work is excellent and worthy of at least $10.00 if not more.

Of course there are circumstances where we wouldn’t enforce the tipping policy. A policy is something that is flexible, and if our clients have a bad experience, or a difficult time with one of our staff then of course we would never force them to tip. This policy is mostly about education, and setting an expectation.

We also recognize that 90% of the people who come in already exceed the minimum-tipping amount, and to those people we just want to say thank you! We don't want to punish our loyal clientele who have seen us grow from a small single room office to the busy establishment we are now. We hope to be providing wonderful services for years to come and we thank you in your part in helping facilitate that reality.

    Thank you!

Tyler has been in practice as a massage therapist since 2010, but has always had an affinity as a healer and an interest in mental, spiritual, and physical health.

Struggling with his own auto-immune disease, he has found great value in alternative healing modalities such as massage and yoga, and continues to this day to learn as much as he can about health and wellness through the holistic and scientific communities.

As the sole owner of Inner Harmony Healing, he has enforced the idea that massage therapy should be a medical service. Therefore, he and the rest of the Inner Harmony team have gone through extensive vocational training to ensure the quality of the massage therapy services they offer to the greater Sacramento and Fair Oaks area.
